Target and other thoughts

Monday, January 10, 2011

Took a spin through Target last week and was surprised to see they were featuring navy and white.

I'm normally not drawn to the color navy, but somehow this seemed so attractive to me.  I guess because it reminded me of this

which is great because this morning we woke up to this

and on a completely unrelated note...

What a jackass...

I love the classic look of navy and white. It can go casual or formal, but is always timeless. I love that Target is stocking some navy and white items.

Oh dear, am laughing my head off. Perfect end to the post, perfect. I'd love to wake up to some snow, guess that's easy for me to say here in Phoenix, I don't have to drive in it.

Kim,
I am semi-obsessed with the jackass aspect of John Edwards, me originally being from North Carolina and all and knowing about him before the country knew about him. Have you ever read the book his aide wrote. It is fantastic trash. I've got a copy I can send to you if you'd like.

It's 22 degrees in Indianapolis this morning. Cold taking my daughter to preschool!

Good morning, Kim. We've got snow and ice today as well, and the temps aren't going to be above freezing all week. What weirdness! Love navy and white. Throw in a pop of green, yellow or orange and it's a great neutral too. Loving those navy lamps! (oh, ditto on the one with the sappy grin!)

Kim....same thing at our house here in Atlanta!!! Wish I could get to target today to check it out! AND...there are no words to describe what a skank John Edwards is.....I read that book and it was a page turner.

Love those jars! Gonna have to go check those out. Will have to be later this week since we have the same outside here! And yes, agree wholeheartedly on the last though...scum bag!

I've always loved navy & white. Such a gorgeous, elegant combo. Will have to make my way to Target to see what they have available.

And, ditto to Edwards. :)

I saw this line at Target the other day and I loved it. They had a rug for $20 that I wanted to buy. Sense kicked in, because I have no where for navy in my house.

Saw the lamps one day and the next they were gone. We only have one target here in southern maryland though. Makes me want to take a cruise instead of my husband. Someplace sunny and luxurious. Love the last pic, you rock!

I haven't poked around Target lately so you've given me something to look forward to. I love the lamps! We got a good bit of snow too but not as much as Chattanooga. Crazy!

By the way, I just nominated you for a "Stylish Blogger Award!" Check it out.

ha ha that was nice for closing statement. Heard that Elizabeth scratched him out of her will... so i so so hope that it was not revealed till the reading. Would be priceless to see his sappy face finding out he got cut. I think that Elizabeth had such class. And i watched the documentary on him a while back. And so was scratching my head on that one. So yeah... well put.
Do also love target. We have one 5 min. away... love it~

Been waking up to that same scene around here for too long already and winter is far from over! :-) i don't usually "do" blue and white, but I really like what you're showing here from Target.

My sister in law was sending me pictures of these items! I wish I had somewhere to use them. And we are iced in over here. My husband and sister are determined to make it to work so I've given them the name you gave John Edwards....
