Design Consultation/Paint Color Consultation
The Design Consultation is a great way to get smart and creative solutions for your decorating challenges. Not sure what to put over the mantel or what type of rug is best suited to your space? I can help you with that and all of your design opportunities. I'll view your home with an educated eye and give you suggestions on how to make the most of your interiors - and if need be, I'll push you a little out of your comfort zone! I can work with you to develop a color palette, help with your furniture and accessory placement, and give you suggestions for any changes that will enhance the look of your home! $150 for an in-home consultation up to 2 hrs.
Design Plans
Do you know why so many people feel paralyzed when it comes to decorating their homes? Quite simply, it's because they don't have a plan! If you don't have a plan for your space, even something as simple as buying a lamp can leave you feeling anxious and overwhelmed. The beauty of the Design Plan is that it will give you the confidence to purchase what will work - and what you love - for your home! It's also a great option for those who want a professionally designed space but want to furnish their rooms as their time and budget allow.
The Design Plan is my most popular option, and it's broken down into affordable installments. Here's how it works- along with the associated fees.
Step 1: We'll start with an in-home appointment (set aside about 2 hours). During this time we'll get to know each other so I can learn about how you want the space to function, what design styles appeal to you, and what colors you're attracted to. It will also give me an opportunity to see what furniture pieces you'd like to incorporate into the new design. If you have photos of rooms you like, this is the time to share them with me! I'll also take lots of pictures and measurements of your room to help me determine the best furniture layout. The fee for Step 1 is $200 for living, dining, family rooms and bedrooms. $150 for foyers, powder rooms and hallways.
Step 2: Within a few weeks, I'll hand-deliver your customized Design Plan that is tailored to your personality, your budget and your lifestyle! The package will include a hand-drawn floor plan that shows precisely where your furniture pieces should be placed (I'll go over the floor plan with you to make sure you understand how to translate what's on the floor plan into your room). I'll also give you specific furniture selections, paint colors, fabric swatches, and ideas for rugs, window treatments, lighting and accessories - basically everything you'll need to bring your Design Plan to life! You can start making purchases whenever you're ready, as you'll receive a list of readily available sources. Finally, I'll share my recommendations on how to get the most of your Design Plan! The fee for Step 2 is $350 for living, dining, family rooms and bedrooms. $250 for foyers, powder rooms and hallways.
***At this point, you have the option of implementing the plan yourself - or I can assist you with some of the legwork at my hourly rate of $60. If you'd like to have your new space professionally styled, you can add the "Styling" option below.
Step 3 (optional): Once you have all the elements from your Design Plan, I will come to your home and professionally style your room - from the rug up! I will place each piece of furniture, hang your artwork, and use my Designer's eye to style every inch of your space. This final layer is so important as it really brings your space to life and tells your story. The fee for Step 3 is $375 for living, dining and bedrooms. $250 for foyers, powder rooms and hallways.
Full Service Design
Full Service Design is just what is sounds like. I'll handle everything from creating a personalized Design Plan for your space to the finishing touches on installation day - and I will personally oversee each and every detail in between! The fees and structure for Full Service Design are the same as they are for the Design Plan option above, with the addition of my hourly rate ($60 per hour) for the time used to handle all the details along the way, and a 20% upcharge for anything I purchase for your new space.
Interior Styling
If you're happy with your current furnishings but want to create a new look in your home, this is the service option for you! Using nothing more than your existing furnishings and tried and true design principles like balance, scale, contrast and repetition, I will create a fresh new look for your space! The fee for Interior Styling is $450 for living rooms, dining rooms, bedrooms, family rooms and kitchens. $350 for bathrooms, foyers and hallways. Please note there are additional fees for 2-story spaces. Contact me for details.
Hourly Rate Design Services
The Hourly Rate Design Service can be used to source fabrics, wallpaper, window treatments, rugs, furniture and accessories. I can (and love to!) shop Flea Markets, Antique Malls, Craigslist and Consignment shops to find that "Diamond in the Rough" that we can transform from frumpy to fabulous! $60 per hour
