It's gross. Seriously. Chartreuse is probably the most hated color around here every spring, so I thought it would be only be fair to show chartreuse in a more flattering light.
Never would have thought about using chartreuse with gray, but it looks great here.
Chartreuse and white always looks fresh.
And what about black? It's my favorite companion for chartreuse. Unless your black car is sporting this combination.
I can't leave you with this image. One more for good chartreuse.
Happy Spring Break!

augh spring allergies - joy
It's a hard color to get right, but I think it can look amazing!
Ha! Friend!! if used correctly!! I love it most with peacock blue!
Oh dear, that IS gross! And I thought the pollen was bad here! I'm loving those faux bamboo chairs in chartreuse. So pretty!
Let me tell you that stuff is awful here in Georgia as well!!!
You have to hose it down, to go to the mailbox, or you track it back into your house!!!
You did find ways to make it look very attractive...Chartreuse can be awesome!
I used chartreuse in my space when I did the Cathedral Antiques show house and it was the PERFECT pop of color. Grounded with black, and 2 shades of grey, it came off sophisticated yet modern...if I do say so myself :)
This post makes me giggle because I, too, am a regular Zyrtec popper these days...but I never associated pollen with chartreuse.
I like the color, though I'm definitely not bold enough to use it. It looks especially nice when paired with any kind of contrasting neutral (gray or even a ruddy color) to tone down the yellowness of chartreuse.
We are really getting a dose this spring, aren't we?
I could go to sleep on the sofa in the first image. Such a gorgeous room. I also love the dining chairs! I love chartreuse.
Thank you for sharing. Off to pinland.
Happy MOnday.

One of my favorites!
I have to say I am not the fan of the chartreuse haze found on our cars in the spring but I am a fan of pops here and there ...moss balls, natural bright green plants and such..I don't think it is a color to be used in large doses but in moderation.

pollen here is more yellow than fartreuse...but it sucks just the same.
i don't care for it in interiors much either.
Wow, actually really love that lacquered chartreuse!
You are so funny. We have a lot of pollen here, too.
I'm not a big fan of chartreuse but you found some wonderful images....I like it in small amounts...
I like it in small doses but pollen sucks!
Cute Blog! Found you through dwellers. I love the way you portrayed this color in a positive light!
Love this color! Especially when it's used for a pop of color like on the chairs! That's my fav! You have to really get it right if on the walls! Our playroom in citrine but I love it!!
