Color Combo I'd Love to Use

Wednesday, May 25, 2011

We all have our favorite colors we use over and over again.  For me, it's usually some variation of the color green.  I also like pinks, yellows, lavenders and turquoise and I like these colors in soft, muted tones.

Imagine my surprise when I find myself attracted to the deep saturated hues of navy(ish) and persimmon, especially when combined together !?!?

Have you been tempted by different colors lately?

I'm an orange and green girl. And all variations--love coral and chartreuse. So, just like you, I was surprised to find myself CREATING a navy and persimmon room--my guest room. I love it! It's fun to do something different.

You can see the guest room here: http://loveyourspace.blogspot.com/2011/04/guest-room-after.html

I adore this color combo - and if I could have the coral print sofa, even better! Yes, I'd like to add some color to our neutral walls - hopefully soon!

I always use orange, soft greens, blues and golds together. I can't get enough of it.
Best,

It has a very nautical feeling, doesn't it? I love those four built-in bunk beds. One day I will have those in a fun get-away house!
I've been attracted to navy recently too, but paired with a warm yellow-y gold. -Camille

Yes, I'm usually all over reds, oranges, and yellows...but lately I've been gravitating towards turquoise and fushia. Have to find a way to make all these colors work together in my house without it seeming like Punky Brewster moved in :)

I love those colors together too! They are so rich ad vibrant. I have been looking for a blue dress that color. Thanks for sharring such great photos!
