Spoonflower Wallpaper Picks

Sunday, September 30, 2012

Surely you've heard by now that Spoonflower has added wallpaper to their extensive line of textile offerings.  People, this is a game changer!  Not only can you easily purchase custom designed patterns from independent designers, but the wallpaper itself is removable, so as you keep falling in love with more and more wallpapers, you can  remove (and save) what was on your walls and put up another pattern.  Don't you love that?

Okay, so I've taken the liberty of doing a little wallpaper shopping for us and here are some of my favorites!

Pretty fans rejoice!  This floral, "Nicolette Day"  is beautiful and is offered as a fabric as well.

Both patterns above are from Spoonflower designer "domesticate".  "Summer Mums"(immediately above) reminds me of Albert Hadley's Fireworks, seen below.

I also love Holli Zollinger's lavender Buffalo Check. Hey, wouldn't it be great combined with "Nicolette Day" in the top image?

Are you ready to see my favorite favorites?  These water-color inspired papers are almost more than I can take.  So pretty, colorful and soft at the same time.  All are byC'est la Viv's Garden Lark Collection.

This one is called "Rain".  It's really just a celebration of beautiful color!

This is simply "Blue & White". Simply beautiful!

And the uber-gorgeous "Poppies".

I have a feeling this is just the tip of the iceburg. Have you had a chance to shop wallpaper at Spoonflower yet?

These papers are just beautiful. I love the florals especially, and the fact that they can be removed is great!

Love the fact it can be removed so easily...The black and white paper looks fantastic with the art work. I have to look into this.

I love Spoonflower and love the black and white print. I'm struggling with my wallpaper choice for the laundry room since Chiang Mai Dragon will cost me my first born. I'm back to square one! - Brandy

Kim,
Thanks for sharing their papers again. I had earmarked them sometime ago and totally forgot about them. Plan to design one of my own.
Best.
