New Lamp - a love story.

You:  Classic, curvy, not too flashy and available.

Me:  Design junkie, lamp hoarder, lover of all things vintage.

You:  Temptress with your drippy glazes, mesmerizing color and low price tag.

Me:  Unable (unwilling?) to resist your charms.

Us:  Destined to be together.

I know exactly how you feel. Sometimes when I'm at an estate sale or an auction, I see a piece and I say "come to momma" because I feel it's just been sitting there waiting for me :) I have a vase similar to this lamp in my shop http://www.etsy.com/listing/73376100/vintage-german-drip-glaze-ceramic-vase

To answer your polish question - no, foil doesn't need to touch but works faster and better on the tough ones. Make sure it's the shiny side :)

What a beautiful lamp. I do hope you snatched it up. Lamps & pillows are definitely my weakness.
