I love this image I found on Kathryn Ireland's website that features a traditional English sofa covered in lavender! Have you been to her site? It's full of all sorts of great inspiration and lots of beautiful color and pattern.

I didn't realize you could order so many of her products online - not that I could afford any of them. Naturally, I was excited to find this lovely Ikat stripe fabric in lavender!

LOVE Lavender!! I just did a bathroom and selected Schumacher's "Tracery" in Wisteria and I am using the "Shantung Silhouette", also in Wisteria, for the pelmet box. It looks fantastic with the Carrara marble! Thinking of doing something similar to my master bath...
Light cool colors have been appealing to me lately. I think lavendar would be a gorgeous color to accent your room.
I just love the ikat fabric in lavender! It looks very luxe and beautiful. The toile fabric also looks fabulous. Adore your picks!

I would NEVER have shopped for anything lavender or purple. But, a couple weeks ago I was in Joanne fabric and crafts looking at the remnant table. There was the prettiest medallion? print and a solid lavender next to it. I grabbed them and am Dying to make pillows and chair cushions for my sunroom - my sewing machine is at the repair shop, but I'll be posting about my purple soon I hope.
What a gorgeous sofa and fabric! I have been watching Million Dollar Decorators and love it- as crazy and over the top as it is! I love purple these days, and I'm also drawn to rooms with pops of orange.
