Tree of Life

Happy Tuesday, kids!

Nature provides an endless supply of inspiration for me when designing a space, and trees are a favorite muse!  I blogged here and here about using trees in design, and today I want to share some images that feature the Tree of Life motif.  The Tree of Life design has been around for centuries, and it's meant to portray how all life on earth is connected. Beautiful!

Hope you're finding your inspiration this week!

Kim, I love this motif! While in Greece, we stopped into a textile store that carried the most spectacular embroidered Tree of Life linens--check out my post tomorrow for some photos!!

I recently bought a tree of life painting from Etsy and love it. I don't know where I'll hang it, but it spoke to me and I had to have it.

I know I've told you before, but I just adore the new look of your blog. That shade of green is one of my favorite colors.

I love reading your blog because you always teach me a thing or two I had never known. Like the tree of life. I recognize the image, but had no idea there was a name for it!

Tree of life is all over my house. It sounds busy, but it works. You are preaching to the choir here. Its my favorite.
