Hello Sunshine!

Thursday, March 31, 2011

If you live anywhere near me then you're probably sick of seeing this on your local weather report

Honestly, we've had buckets of rain for days now, but thankfully we're headed for blue skies, sunshine and warmer temperatures this weekend!  The beginning of spring makes me want to bring some sunshine inside, too.  Aren't accents of yellow the perfect way to chase away the winter blahs?

Louis in lemon velvet - does it get any better?

Happy glorious spring weekend!

Especially love the Louis with its silver leafed frame with that yellow! Pop! And while we are at it, can I please have the Chanel sunglasses?

I have two lemon chairs and they make me so happy every time I see their yellow faces! I also hear you on the weather, I'm in NC and the lack of sunshine the past three days has been seriously depressing SO happy the sun is back today...and so are my plants!

Bring on the sunshine!

Thanks for visiting my blog. You can paint your chairs any color, you just add the textile medium to your paint... the textile medium comes in a little craft size bottle, and the ratio is on the back... they advise using their paint, but I used wall paint that I had on hand... the green to white chair I painted last summer and it has held up really well...

I'm a huge fan of the yellow. I can sympathize with you. I live in Vancouver and it's pretty much been raining since December;(

I am loving that yellow though.....exactly what I am doing in our house to brighten things up. Have a great sunny weekend!

Yellow is one of those colors that I LOVE in other people's projects but I can never bring myself to use...I don't know why. :) Hope you're well
