You are so rockin' it with your color choices. First cobalt and now emerald. I'm waiting to see what you do with that lamp...
I agree always been enamored with the color emerald, not to mention the stones not too shabby either...lol. In decor, though its so rich and regal looking...very beautiful images you showed as an example.
It has always been a favorite for me. I love it paired with the orange tones in your images! M.
wow. those pics are soo inspiring! i just might have to find a way to paint a wall or 2! loving the richness and jewel-like deep colors! xox!
Green has been my favorite color for a very long time, every shade of it. Suppose it might be an homage to my Irish Nana and summers spent there. Lately I'm finding myself drawn to white and teals though.
Never really thought about using emerald green before...but you just changed my mind...all these rooms are super gorgeous...I did a post on 'kelly green' a few days back...u must chk it out!! Thankyou so much for stopping by my blog today!!xx meenal
Very pretty in interiors, but I love wearing emerald green. Do you remember the emerald earrings that Angelina Jolie was photographed wearing at the Oscars a few years ago? Gorgeous!
Why yes I do love emerald green! And like Karen, I love wearing it too!
Kim, We are on the same page. I've been feeling the emerald love too. Such a rich powerful color.
AND I just spray painted a mirror green.. so your can cracks me up. It's pretty dark green, so I don't know if can be classified as emerald, but it gives me my fix!
I think emerald is going to be an "it" color. It's pretty bold painted on all the walls in a room, but there are so many other ways to use it like Mary McDonald did. I love it when it leans toward peacock a little bit!
Fun images!
Love love love emerald green and with black...so chic! I'm actually facing a dilemma that I'll post about tomorrow. I bought bamboo chairs that I plan on recovering, but I just can't decide whether to leave them natural or paint them black. I'll be upholstering them in peacock blue velvet, so would black be too much or would it look incredible like all of these images. I'm posting about it tomorrow and I would love your opinion! :) Danielle
Such a bold color but I love it! I don't think it gets used as often as it should.
Thanks for your comment!
Tres chic! Have you seen the new Iman fabric at calico corners. They have a great geometric with a beautiful green.
When I was in school I wore green as part of my uniform and for years and years I couldn't stand the colour in any way. The last couple of years I'm totally loving it for interiors. I just bought a green blouse a couple of weeks ago so I guess I'm over the tragedy of that uniform:)
I do love this combo and especially love that last image.
Emerald just makes me happy! It makes for great decor accessories and great jewelry, too!
I do love emerald green - always have. It's my birthstone after all! The green and black combo reminds me of malachite which I adore. Great images. Loving your color posts!
I never really paid it much attention until this post. Now I'm a believer! LOVE!
Love emerald...so sophisticated and fun at the same time!! Take care, Caroline
A beautiful rich color. Love the fabulous Mary McDonald accoutrements. Laughed at the end when I saw the paint can!!
Yes!!! I do!
I'm with the group that never paid attention. Now I do too.
Best,
Liz
I didn't know I loved it until you showed me :)
Oh yes! Emerald green is gorgeous!
