A Look inside the shop

Thursday, January 13, 2011

Most of us have cabin fever after being snowed in for days, but here in Tennessee we are (finally) starting venture back out into the light!  For those of you still snowed in, here's a little shopping excursion to my shop, no makeup required!  And locals you can find The Green Room Interiors at Merchants on Main, 607 E Main St. in downtown Chattanooga. Take a look at what's in the shop now:

Antique frames.  The larger frame has an intricate carved detail and is in pristine condition.  The smaller frame has a great hand-painted tortoise-shell finish.  $25/$35

Lovely vintage gold table with cabriole legs   $35

Turquoise glass footed bowl $12

Antique Sheraton style China Cabinet

Ivory Painted finish with Teal Interior  $375.00

Mid-century Regency-style bench. Gray dry-brushed over cream finish and accents of gold.  Newly upholstered in the fabric above.  For some reason, the piece looks blue in the pictures, but it's gray.

Pair of Italian-made brass candelabra(s).  $24.00 ea.

More on my Facebook page (click on the Facebook tab on the right) and if you stop there for a visit, be sure to "Like" us!

Enjoy your weekend!!

It looks great!! And thanks for the nomination...I am sorry I was out of touch yesterday, but I was on my way to icy Atlanta (went thru Chattanooga) and it just took a long time to get there! I am at the January Home Decor show and am wiped out from a long day of shopping! Your store looks wonderful and you are such an inspirational source for me! Take care, Caroline

I would be your biggest customer if I lived anywhere near you. I love everything you showed us! I think your painting technique with dry brushed gray on white sounds really cool. Can you give a close up and tutorial? I have a table I'm trying to figure out what to do with it.

Great job!
Julie

Your prices are excellent! I'd love the frames since I've been collecting antique gold frames for the past year.
