I love these classic black & white marble tiles in a basketweave pattern. They come in 12x12 sheets for faster and easier installation.
This white octagonal tile is readily available (usually in-stock at Home Depot). I have it in my own master bath. Great looking and easy on the budget!
Don't you like how they used the black liner on the walls and floors to separate the different tiles? You can pick these liner tiles up at Home Depot and Lowe's,too.
It may not be the most practical choice, but wood floors are a great way to bring some warmth into your bathroom.
Wood floors in the master bath of my other house. (We have since installed the shelving and glass doors in the built-in over the tub)
I adore gray & white marble! (even though it can be pricey)
Great hex pattern in carerra marble.
Especially fabulous in a herringbone pattern, right?
My girl Mary thinks so!
Here is an flooring option I have not tried but would love to.
These pebble floors are so textural and organic! (and I imagine low maintenance, too) And how great would it be to start each morning with a mini foot massage!

Really like the look of the pebble floors and the white brick tiles - nice! Jane :)
I absolutely love the octagonal tiles. I've had them in homes I've rented before and just love their classic look. The pebble floors at the bottom are truly beautiful! I've not seen that before and the whole bathroom has such an outdoorsy feel. Love it.
xo,

love the marble hex - great style!
Bliss in the bathroom indeed! I love all these ideas, especially the B & W Walker Zanger tiles and the octagonal ones. So classic!
Love the pebble idea!! I have a thing for white bathrooms...with classic white tiles (such as the octagonal/honeycomb ones)...but those pebbles could work too!!
these pics offer some great inspiration to me coz im about to start doing up our guest bathroom.
i love white tiles but unfortunately im going to have to stick to a beige-ish tone coz our bathrooms seem to accumulate wayyy too much dust . if i had my way though every room in my house would be pure white! =)
Persis.
I love a classic white subway tile, they're just so timeless and go with everything. I've got the pebble tile floors in both my showers. I do love them and you're right - low maintenance!
The pebble floor is my favorite!!
I love them. We do cork which sounds funky but is very traditional. I love that it feels cozy and is never cold.
I honestly do not know which is my favorite... I love them all! Thanks for following... I am going to add you to my blogroll!
What a great post, I'm so happy I came across your blog! I do really like the black stripes in that bathroom, I think it adds some depth and definition to the room as well. And my favorite bathroom flooring is bright white shiny hexagonal (and octagonal) tiles. Definitely classic and timeless!
On another note, I've seen a lot of wooden floors used in bathrooms lately, and I've always wondered what type of wood is used. How does it handle water spills, and do you need to seal it off with anything? I really love the look, your pink bathroom is so fab! Very Elle decor =)

I suddenly have the urge to bathe! haha Great photos!

I love marble too, on counters, floors, wherever I can get it! Those pebble floors would be so great in a beach house... if only I had a beach house... sigh! xo
I love our vintage tiles in our bathroom and the tubs are great as well, we just have very sixties vanities that need love and replacement. They need to go to vanity heaven and be transformed. Wonderful images to look to.
Love your work and blog too. Thanks for coming by.
Wow, those images brought me right back to when I was a little girl and my grandparents had a bathroom that was tiled in the white octagonal tile like you showed above. It seemed old-fashioned at the time, I guess everything comes back if you give it long enough.
I love timber in a wet area.....I know its completely impractical but I would if I could....I love these simple no mess, no fuss bathrooms that look oh so classic....I however have way to many products, potions and lotions to not have some sort of cabinetry in my bathroom.....Love your blog, thanks for popping over to mine the other day...Have a great day.
I love all of these fabulous photos!! I die for white and gray marble as well, it's soooo beautiful. I would wish for it in my bathrooms, and as a counter and backsplash in my dream kitchen as well :)

I've never done a pebble tile either. I think it'd be fun and massaging in the shower. Not sure about the rest of the space though...

these are all classic, timeless floors and very stylish. i love the herringbone pattern!
Love the black and white and the pebble! We actually have linoleum tiles, and honestly, my husband had to point out to me that they weren't real tiles. They look SO REAL you would never guess, I love them!
Loving the retro pre war sensibility to these tiles...gorgeous!
I've always loved the hex in marble. Just beautiful. You've found some lovely images..Rachaelxx

And, as for this post, I am all over herringbone flooring!
Oh Kim I love your bathroom! And I've been wanting those tiles for my own bathroom! Thanks for showing us your bathroom! Now, I have to look around for more pics of your home;-)
I am constantly re-doing my master bath in my mind and these were just great fits for what I'm planning. Esp love those pebbles! Thanks for the inspiration!

Fantastic pictures.
Marble tiles are always used for elegant look. Some times we should be very careful while choosing stone because every stone is famous for it's quality such as Bidasar Stone is famous for it's fireproof nature. So please be attentive while exporting these stones from your Sandstone Exporter.
