Okay, okay. I know you have many blogs to visit today so I will keep the written part short and sweet. It's been a tough 6 weeks and I didn't accomplish everything I had hoped to get done for the reveal, but I think you'll get the picture - actually you're about to get lots of pictures.
First, the obligatory "before" shot. (If you'd like to catch up on the posts leading up to today's reveal, you can do so here.)
Oozing with charm, right? Sure it is! See the "afters" below.
Please don't judge my photos too harshly - I took them myself because my room is not yet totally done (as if that will ever happen) and I worked on it up until it was time to post the photos. Oh, and some of my DIY projects might be a little rough around the edges. Still working on those finishing touches!
I'm still playing musical chairs around the dining room table. Bench and chairs or just chairs?
Do you recall the Chinoiserie fabric that inspired this entire space?
Sadly it's nowhere to be found in here - yet. Due to unavoidable circumstances, my upholsterer was not able to get my host dining chairs done in time for today's reveal. Sad face :-( . As you read this, my chairs are getting upholstered with my Chinoiserie print fabric on the backs and they will flank the ends of my dining room table. Kind of a bummer they're not here yet but I'll be sure and take photos when they arrive.
And lucky you! This reveal is a 2-for-1 because I did my living room too!
Leopard pillows - I'm all in.
Most of the items I used in both rooms are vintage and "found" items. People always ask me about decorating with vintage finds, and I always give the same answer. It takes time, people! And patience too.
Just look at how excited Ellie is over this new space!
And that's where we are today! I owe a giant "Thank you" to my Mom who spent a weekend with me placing furniture and accessorizing. And a big thank you to everyone who's followed my progress along the way and taken the time to comment with such kind words. It's much appreciated!
UPDATE: At the 11th hour, the upholsterer that was redoing my chairs emailed me to tell me he got one finished up. Hurray! Here's a look at that
Finally, a Super Sized thank you to Linda for providing the motivation and for hosting the One Room Challenge and The One Room Challenge Linking Event. Make sure you head over to Linda's blog where you'll find the links for everyone who participated in this round's event!

OH. MY. GOD! Kim!! This is GORGEOUS! What a transformation. You must be dying. The wall color is killer, and the details everywhere are just beautiful.
Wow, what a beautiful space you have created! The two rooms are breathtaking......and the host chair, the cherry on the sundae!
KIM!! I can't believe how you just casually pull off these crazy transformations. You must have done 5 million little projects! I love the wall color and I love seeing the final vision. I remember doing my design board with your inspiration pieces.
The mix of colour in here is stunning- love, love how the green lampshade plays off the teal wall and then how the flowers on the coffee table pop as well...and of course the leopard...don't get me started on that. This is all such a beautiful transformation!!!
The wall color you selected is simply amazing. So lush, I love it. Every piece you've collected works so well - the space is just perfect. And I love how your chairs turned out!! Well done!
I LOVE IT Kim! I know this has been a project in your head for a long time, and so glad you executed in a big way. It is spectacular and love the wall color and all the fun vignettes. Love that you used your fabric on the back of the head chairs..beautiful. Love the secretary and all the blue and white. You should be so proud, it is really gorgeous. xo Nancy
KIM!!!!! This is so incredibly gorgeous, I love your collected look, and you make it look so effortless!! All of your colors/prints play so well off of the wall color!! Your dining room chairs are all crazy good!! Enjoy!
Amazing transformation!! The colors are so rich and fabulous...everything blends perfectly!
You did ALL of this in 6 weeks??? Absolutely incredible!! It's such a transformation!! Gorgeous! The colors are fantastic!
Call 911! I can't catch my breath. Dying!!!! I don't know where to begin about your rooms. The paint? The sofa? Or the exquisite execution of your styling? I think I'm going to start with your amazing vintage finds. Style transcends time, classics! The dining room chairs are stunning. I happen to like the chairs with your new end chairs. Amazing. The nurse just arrived with my oxygen. Still having trouble catching my breath.
I might need to take the day off of work and stare at my iPad dreaming of your next ORC.
We'll done!
Sharon
First of all, your secretary is stunning. It's probably my favorite element in your space :) You did a great job with your seating arrangement in your living room. The wall color really completes the space and makes me want to go dark somewhere in my house ;) Beautiful work!
There are so many things I love about this! The moody, deep hues are gorgeous! I love the pattern mix. It's an insanely good mix of old and new. Love the blue and white and your staffordshire dogs. It's all soooo good!
Great job!

Krista

Oh Kim, both rooms have turned out beautifully! I cannot wait to see your two chairs in the dining room! The saturated colors make me swoon!! xo
Holy shit! Oh Em Gee Kim, this room is outrageously good. Gorgeous.
KIM! It looks so fabulous!!! I love the boldness of the wall colour. I remember designing moodboards for these spaces for `Pimp my Dollhouse`! So fun. I'm loving seeing a few of my suggestions (leopard pillows and English side board) came to life in the real life version! You worked your butt off, infused your personality, and it really really shows! Relax and enjoy!
Kim, I love these colorful and rich spaces!! What a feast for the eyes!! The wall color is amazing, and you can style a room like no other. So excited you got one of your chairs back, it is beautiful and that fabric was such a great jumping off point. Thanks for sharing all your fabulous design ideas, you are so good!
Kim im sorry but I just don't believe that #1 these are the same rooms and #2 that you did this in 6 weeks! LOVE it all...you nailed every detail. And holy dining bench!!!

Kim - you do layering so, so well. I was eating up every little detail about your space - just stunning!
It's just fab. I envy your decorating skills :-)
Pardon me, but what exactly did you not get done? WOW! You did an amazing job transforming not one, but two rooms...like total transformations. I keep going over your pictures and every time I do I see a new detail I missed the first time. Floors, paint, furniture, and everything is totally gorgeous. Job well done!
Kim, the rooms are so beautiful! I love the new head chairs and the secretary most but its all so gorgeous. I can't stop looking at everything!
KIM!!! oh my god. THE TRANSFORMATION! That wall color is incredible. Wow wow wow! I can't get enough.
This is FABULOUS!!! I love the wall colors, the pieces, fabrics....and the lamps just kill me....I want them all. You are so talented!! ADORE it all.
OMG Kim....so rich and eclectic! I LOVE everything. So glad we got a peek of the chairs....swoon! I have to keep looking at the pictures because I see little treasures each time! Great job....I love your style so much!
Speechless. Seriously speechless. But imma try: every thing is stunning, Kim! The gold coffee table and velvet couch are to die for and so is the bench in the dining room--I say keep!!! All of the colors, patterns, textures and accents are just spot on, but *I* certainly don't need to tell *you* that--you schooled me! I am going to go redo my whole house now. Better, yet, can you come redo my whole house now?!
OMG. I just counted 8 things I want from your house, and that was just a quick perusal. The color is just so luxe and the way you mix and match patterns/ textures is just phenomenal. Congrats. xoxo
Impressive room! The wall color looks great, as well as all the fun patterns you used. That head chair is amazing!
Looks amazing, Kim! I love the new host/hostess chair with chinoiserie fabric on the back. Looks perfect with La Fiorentina (I vote for all chairs/no bench). And don't even get me started on that sumptuous green velvet sofa against those walls. Soooo good!!
Absolutely breathtaking, Kim!! I am so in love with these two rooms!!! Of course I adore that perfect peacock blue paint as the backdrop, and then all of the patterns, colors, furniture, and accessories!! And I am dying over those lamps!!! Where did you find the shades? They are just fabulous!! Pure perfection, congratulations!!
XOXO,

Holey Moley what a transformation Kim!! There's so much eye candy here to scope out! I may be reading this post for days to take in everything- it's FABULOUS! Congrats on another amazing project!

Wow! What a gorgeous room you created! I love all the beautiful details! Amazing job!
This is awesome! I LOVE the wall color and the collected feeling both rooms have. Also, I'm drooling over that sofa!
I die over what you have done in here Kim.... the color combo (walls and sofa) is relish, the leopard is perfect, the vintage pieces, I could go on. You have a deft touch and it shows. BTW the host chair? Stunning and I live that you had your Mom helping, lucky!!!
Kim, this is so gorgeous!!!! I love the colors! Can I ask, what is that wall color? It's yummy. Beautiful work!
Great job..love the mix of colors!
Your room is one of my favorites in this whole challenge. Nice job.
11th hour treat, your chair is fabulous! (And when you have a pair it will be divine) Every niche and nook and detail is yummy and pulled together with great flair. Patience may be needed while collecting vintage but to achieve a cohesive space like this great skill is required ... great job Kim!
Wow! What an amazing job you did! Can't believe you did it all in just 6 weeks... Congrats!

Kim, unbelievable transformation of two rooms in just 6 weeks! I can totally relate on having your heart set on something, couldn't get my headboard fabric trim I wanted from a seamstress in time. But a HUGE Bravo on a job well done! Every detail is well thought out! It's been a pleasure participating in ORC with you! Can't wait to see what your finished rooms look like after seeing this!
WHaaaat??? You did an amazing job! The entire space is stunning and that last photo with the one new chair - worth waiting for! GREAT job on all of it - love all the color and details :) GORGEOUS!
You are a rockstar, Kim!! These two spaces are so, so gorgeous! Love all of your details! :)
Incredible! I knew it would be good. The wall color is a dream. Your styling? With the shelves, and the oversized flowers on the table, DYING. I really just want to move it. I wish you could have heard me gasp when I saw your new dining chair. I pinned this post like crazy. :-) xx

just stunning! love the moody wall color and i want to sit my duff on that bench, but i may never leave!
Love the chairs. It all looks so right (except I fear the ginger jars falling from the top of the secretary). What a great eye for color and composition you have. Thank you for such a great post.
Slam dunk!!! One of my favs, hands down. The rich color is a dreamy backdrop for every gorgeous little detail. We speak the same language, my friend. And those host chairs are going to be smashing!!!!
I love your wall color choice! Great job!
KIM, KIM, KIM...you are amazing. I am over the moon loving all of this. I just can't believe how you rocked this space. The colors, patterns, so so great. Time to relax, you did a fantastic job.

You did an amazing job...love how all the elements came together so beautifully!
OMG! Kim, it is CHATTAFABULOUS! You know I love me some vintage furniture! So, so good. And the head chair is amazing!!! In love with your spaces. When can I come over?
Okay, I finally got my room done and linked so i can finally check out everyone's spaces. Your 2(!!) rooms are amazing!! I love those beautifully saturated walls and of course your velvet sofa! Every single vintage find makes these rooms sing!! Love the painted secretary, that wheat table, your art choices, your lamps!!, that fabric!, your pillows. I love this space (in case, you couldn't tell!!) Well done!
This isn't just ChattaFabulous, but whole USofAFabulous!!! My favs are the secretary with the surprise touch of non-painted wood inside (and its perfect positioning in the LR) and the chinoiserie backed head chair that ties everything together. Oh, and the leopard pillows -- you go grrrrrl!
Oh my: that chair just lifts the whole space doesn't it? So glad you were able to show us at least one of them! I have to say I particularly love that lamp with the green shade. It is FABULOUSNESS itself. Love the wall colour. Any chance of finding out what that is?
Beautiful, quirky space. Love all the colour.
Kim I wanted to mention that I love the bench in the dining room and the wheat sheaf table in the living. That is really special!
Have a great weekend!
xoxo
