Then I remembered I saw one over at Ashley's just a few days earlier.
Busts. Totally classic and perfectly at home in modern settings, too!
I love this space! The curtains, the floors, the art and the bust and that light fixture!
Officially on the hunt...

I saw one a few weeks ago at Sugar Plum in East Ridge! Wonder if it's still there?
I love the one on the book shelf - a very feminine roman like feel. Such a great touch!
I love how they add a bit of a collected feel to those spaces!
Thanks for including my little David in your round-up. He's from Dick Blick (an art store) and is less than $18 if you look online.
I love him!
Busts are on my wishlist too.
All these images are all so inspirational.
Morning Kim-
One of my favorite lessons in sculpture class was busts. I have been thinking about making a mold of a bust and selling them. This motivate me to find the time to just do it!
I love busts, and I agree that they go perfectly anywhere!!
Happy Thursday.

Reminds me to kick myself. I just sold a beautiful pair of Asian busts and the whole time I was packaging them up I kept asking myself why on earth I didn't keep them!
I think I might be on the hunt again too :)
oh that bust and painting in that last pic are killing it! love that! i just had my curtains done in greek key trim and somehow they dont look as good as these :)

Clever title Kim! I love them too. M.
I never get tired of that Kelly Wearstler foyer (a Miami hotel, is it?) and the little nook by the founder of Rubie Green. As for me, I tend to hang my larger jewelry on my oversized foo dogs! :)

I have two busts. I love the smaller one that I got for 50. at a thrift store, but never really know where to put her. The other one is big and I got it for $5.00 at a yard sale. I like the way she looks but always think people think I'm pretentious for having one on display.
This has been on my must-have list for so long now, I think I need to get with it and finally snatch one up somewhere...
me too :) I've found a very cool one but it's quite expensive so It may have to stay on the wish list a while longer...
