Small Kitchens with Wallpaper

Sunday, March 11, 2012

As I'm working out the details for my small kitchen,  these images are providing lots of inspiration for creating big style in a tiny kitchen.  Enjoy!

The light fixtures are so fun!  I just included this star fixture in my roundup of flushmount light fixtures.  See it here.

Okay, scrap my plan - get me a Saarinen table and some x-base benches, stat!

Happy Monday, friends!

Love , love! I just love smaller kitchens. My last kitchen was large, but I loved my tinny kitchen. Everything was right there. I am a cook and spend a lot of time in the kitchen. People think I'm nuts for loving the smaller kitchen. My point, you can have tons of style in a tiny kitchen!!
Be sure and visit in the morning. I have put together a list of my close blogger friends who also have online shops.
Have a great week.

I always enjoy your inspiration pictures. I do love wallpaper in a small space; it just adds so much character and flair! Excited to see your kitchen come together!

I love this post for so many reasons! I think adding wallpaper to a small kitchen or any room is unexpected and adds tons of character and interest. I didn't even notice that many of these kitchens are everyday kitchens with 70's cabinets and all. Shows how a little money can go along way in an ordinary space.
Great photos too!

I love putting wallpaper in a kitchen! I like the photo with the x-benches as well but I think it would be uncomfortable to actually eat there for more than a couple of minutes - I like to lean back when I sit.

I really like the traditional toile wallpaper with the more modern cuckoo clock.

I am a HUGE fan of wallpaper...it can make such a great statement! Even on just one wall....can't wait to see what you do!

I am not, however, a big fan of taking it down :(

Have a great week!

If I could get away with wallpapering my rental, I'd definitely be taking some inspiration from these images...still love the Sheila Bridges Harlem toile!

I adore wallpaper, there's just no substitute. The yellow toile of the first image totally stole my heart. Its a nice departure, as are all your images, from the very cool, clean, almost cold space that we're seeing a lot of right now. Thank you for the gorgeous inspiration!

I love the smaller kitchens with a fun print wallpaper, the yellow ones are perfect too for making the smaller space seem a little bit brighter!
