Christmas Natural

Sunday, December 5, 2010

I can't believe we're a whole week into December and not a Christmas post from me yet!  The truth is I'm not a big seasonal or holiday decorator, even at Christmastime!  What I do love to use are simple greens, pine cones, candles and branches- then mix in a little sparkle!  Hope you enjoy these Christmas images that have a simple, nature-inspired theme.

I could not agree with you more! I am a very simple Holiday decorator too...and besides a Christmas tree, ornaments, white lights and some greenery-- I just use what I have around the house! Beautiful images! Take care, Caroline

I like your style. Natural with a little glam is always good. The smell of pine and the sparkle of glass, gold and silver are the perfect combination when decorating for the holidays.

Kim,
I love the first photo - and your theme of decorating naturally. The images are so pretty!

Great inspiration. I am all done. If I don't do it right after Thanksgiving I am afraid I wouldn't get around to it.

Lovely images. We are done with our trees (4 up this year) but it's all the bits and bobs around the house I haven't finished up yet, perhaps today.

I'm with you -simple is always better-we will be traveling so we got a tiny tree that we can plant in the yard. My daughter loved decorating it! Stop by soon-I'm hosting a giveaway this week!

I've been decorating in stages but it's coming along. This weekend I'm hoping to do up the new pergola with white lights for our Xmas party!

Happy weekend, Kim!

Love all of these images. Though, somehow Christmas has come and gone (trying to figure out how that happened) these will serve as natural inspiration for next time. Love the stockings on the weathered door. Happy New Year! xo
