Wanna see what I found on ebay?
One of a set of 4
Vintage barkcloth fabric from the 40's. Has a modern feel, right?
Same with these vintage jars
and these brass lamps
White lamps? Love 'em. Jar Lamps? Love 'em. Double Jeopardy!
I know...
These chunky pagodas are bookends.
If these were mine I would swap out the white shades for some black ones, then I would carry them around my house for days deciding where they should go because I want them everywhere.
Gorgeous wallpaper that is no longer in production. How about lining the back of a cabinet with this?
These are vintage curtains and look to be in great condition - and who can say no to pink and green?
Was that as good for you as it was for me?

I want that mirror! I have one along the same lines (but not nearly as decadent) in my bathroom but it wasn't in great shape so I painted it orange. Obviously since we call our house Pagoda, I need those bookends. Seriously.
whoa! I'll take the chair and the lamps, please!
I just peed a little over those blanc de chin lamps....
Great Finds! You crack me up about moving the lamps around....I am doing the same thing with a pair I have right now. Too funny!
It was good for me too! Very cute post and I really loved every one of your finds! I almost fell over when you said there were 4 of those chairs - you know about my chair issue..... and they don't need a complete overhaul ;)

The chairs are my favorite. I find accessories in this style at thrift stores frequently, but the furniture is a little harder to find. I think the best pieces get snatched up immediately by the dealers.
My favorites are the white jar lamps, the asian inspired lamps (and agree that a black shade would look nice!) and those pink/green vintage curtains...would take them any day! We do need to go shopping sometime!
I love them all!
What great finds! I always search for chinoiserie on ebay and then get bummed nothing can be shipped here... Love pink+green by the way.
Mmmmm. So good. :)
Those are great! I especially love the chair in the first pic!
I love chinoserie! When I get a better camera I am going to post pics of my bamboo dining set makeover, it came out awesome! Can't wait to work on your blog, Kim, we are going to have so much fun! XX!
My husband worked in china for a few months and he brought home some lovely things. You found some great pieces. The bookends are fun! Have a great weekend!
you did a great job! I must admit-whenever I get on ebay I spend hours and then chicken out on buying--need to take a lesson from you!
What great finds! That first chair would look so good painted in a sassy color with some great new fabric! Have a good weekend...
Whoa! You had a great day out there. I love those brass lamps especially!
Thank you for sharing, Kim.
