I am so excited to be guest posting for Jade over at Flip Flops & Pearls for her series about the South.  Jade is a talented designer with a beautiful  blog.  I especially love the Monday Musings and Friday Favorites posts.  Flip Flops & Pearls is one of my daily reads, and I'm thrilled to participate in this Southern-style series!

Go check it out here and see what I love about the South!!

Love your southern perspective. As a California transplant, I've had a hard time adjusting, but I'm beginning to appreciate many of the things you listed!

p.s. That Scarlett dress is one of my all time favs...brings back happy childhood memories of watching that movie over and over and over...

I drank sweet tea several times a day for 4 years while going to college in NC. I don't think I've had it since. I think it's one of those things you just HAVE to do in the south.

Guest posting!? Wow. I'll have to check it out. BTW, in your last post you mentioned using Ben Moore's "Revere Pewter" in your dining room...that's the color I've chosen for my living room and now have a large patch of it painted on one wall. It's been that way for a month while we've been working on helping the Chrysalis store open in downtown Chattanooga! I hope you'll have your move and decorating done much faster that I've been able to do! Good luck with your move and keep us posted.
