I've always admired the World's Away Treillage console table but found that the price tag made this one unattainable for many budgets.
It's a beautiful piece, but it's priced at around $1500. Luckily I stopped into my local Pier 1 last week and found an impressive version of the Treillage.
Pier 1's "Link" console is priced at a doable $349, and although the finish isn't the same as the World's Away piece, it could be a fun diy with spray paint, Rub'n'Buff, or even gold/silver leaf.
I hope everyone's having a great week. I'm behind on my blog reading but hope to rectify that this weekend!

Pier 1 really came through on that one. Great find! I think it would look great gold-leafed (or Rub n Buffed gold).

Great find! I love bargains like this.
ReplyDeleteIsn’t That Charming.
Love it! Imagine it in a cool lacquer. Not bad for the price! The lines are almost exactly the same. Great find!

ReplyDeleteWow!! Would look great in gold!
ReplyDeleteGood job! That bad boy would look so great spray painted gold. Love these look for less posts!
ReplyDeleteI seen knock offs quite often while out and about. The most recent two are the new Nate Berkus tortoise shell vs. the one from Neimans. Jae blogged about it recently as well as the yellow/gold Arteriors lamp knock off at Target. Dayka blogged about that one.
ReplyDeleteIt's nice to see alternatives in the marketplace so everyone can have a chance to try out new trends without much financial risk!
Yes love the look for less. I need that help for my dining room right now....I'm chairless - Brandy
