Proud to be Green!

People often ask me how I came up with the name "Green Room Interiors" for my business.  There are two reasons:  First of all,  I love to remake and repurpose existing furniture pieces!  Not only great for the environment, but great for the wallet (hey, isn't that a third "green"!?) And, more importantly, green is my favorite color! I think I've used every shade of green there is  - hunter, olive, lime, celery, apple and fern - depending on the decade!


Right now I have my sights set on kelly - it looks so fresh and bold, especially when used with lots of white!


I'm in love with this Meg Braff master bedroom.

    Green is my favorite color too!! My eyes are green! I'll take it in any shade, anywhere, any time.

    I love the green on the first bathroom and the tiles in the other. I painted the kitchen in my last place that color. Awesome!!

    I totally gravitate towards green in interiors too! It can be a calming color, or it can add a bright punch to a room!

    Green had been my favorite color all my life, every shade is beautiful. I have been telling people for years that it is a neutral - nobody ever believes me. I LOVE it with pink, brown and orange.

    Love green esp in my house. I just found some clearance curtains from PB that are parsley green. I just can't decide between a big pop of color in my dining room or keep it very calm. maybe calm is boring...

    I like it bold :) Kelly green and white brings me waaaay back to my first room. Back then I loved it b/c it matched my name "Kelly", but then all my friends had pink and purple rooms, so I felt like an outsider. I look back at it and if I only knew how stylin my room furniture and colors were!!!
